The Creators Behind MMA Fantasy: A Passion for the Sport

MMA Fantasy started with a simple idea—just a group of friends and family making picks before fight night, competing to see who had the best fight IQ. What began as a casual pool quickly evolved into something bigger: a full-scale app that lets MMA fans everywhere put their predictions to the test.

We (Ben and Lucas) are longtime MMA fans who live and breathe the sport. Lucas, who started coding at 16, took the technical reins, while Ben helped shape the vision of what an ideal fantasy MMA experience should look like. We wanted to create a platform that was engaging, competitive, and community-driven, where fans could prove their knowledge and have fun doing it.

Our love for MMA runs deep. Lucas' favorite fighter is Sean O'Malley, known for his flashy striking and creative finishes, while Ben is a huge fan of Jiří Procházka, whose unorthodox style and warrior mentality make him one of the most exciting fighters to watch. We've been fortunate enough to experience the energy of live UFC events, attending UFC Fight Night 158 (Gaethje vs. Cerrone), UFC 276 (Adesanya vs. Cannonier), and UFC 289 (Nunes vs. Aldana) — each one an unforgettable experience that fueled our passion for the sport even more. One of the highlights of UFC 276 was meeting Tony Ferguson at Topgolf in Las Vegas, which was a surreal moment for us as longtime fans.

We’re incredibly proud of what we've built so far, but this is just the beginning. MMA Fantasy is about more than just making picks—it’s about bringing fans together, creating a competitive and interactive space, and making fight nights even more exciting.

We love what we do, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. 👊
